From the moment I had my first conversation with Sasha, and she confirmed my diagnosis of breast cancer I knew I was in expert hands. Nobody ever wants to hear that they have such a potentially scary disease but after my conversation with her I felt calm, knowledgeable and prepared for the future. She took the time to explain clearly and honestly what the next steps were and arranged for me to have a face-to-face appointment within only a few days. At that appointment Sasha was again friendly, professional and reassuring. After speaking to her I understood fully the what, how and why of my procedure, she included drawings in her explanations and allowed me the time to process the information and ask questions. She also referred me repeatedly to the contact numbers I could use should I have any questions of her or Molly, the breast care nurse working with her. Just under a week later, on the day of my operation Sasha came to see me in my room, to check that I was okay and see if I had any questions or concerns, again this was very reassuring, explaining exactly who would be seeing me and what would happen. She again checked on me just before the operation, which I really didn’t expect, and her bright and cheerful, but also professional demeanour inspired positivity and supreme confidence. She also personally called my husband after the procedure which reassured him greatly too. I have since had a follow up appointment with Sasha to check my wounds, which have healed wonderfully and are very discreet, and discuss my future treatment. Again she had exactly the right approach, explaining everything carefully and inspiring me with confidence. I honestly feel that I was privileged to have Sasha Dua as my consultant surgeon and I could not have been any better cared for, both physically and emotionally.

Sascha is absolutely amazing, I can’t recommend her enough. After I found a lump in Jan 2021, she saw me really quickly and even held my hand through the biopsy. I trusted her immediately, she tells you everything straight and then gives you your “instructions” so you know what to do next, this gave me a focus and helped me get my head around the diagnosis and my upcoming treatment. My surgery was only a few weeks later with Sascha drawing on me beforehand to make sure we were both happy. She is fantastic at what she does and I was relieved to be consulted on my surgery scar location. From a scary life-changing diagnosis to surgery to the aftercare you can totally rely on her, she is dedicated, caring and bubbly and I’m so glad she was my surgeon. I’m going to miss our appointments (weird thing to say I know) as at every single meeting I felt in safe hands, reassured and walked out smiling. She is one special lady and I’m so grateful and feel incredibly lucky to have found her.

What can I say, that hasn’t already been said. Sascha, picked up my breast cancer at a routine visit in January. Immediately, she came up with a treatment plan, which has been implemented successfully due to her diligence and expertise. One could be forgiven for thinking that you are her only patient, such is the extent of her care and availability. She relates to you as the whole person, physically and emotionally with kindness, patience and understanding. She has a splendid support team of approachable ladies, who make you feel at ease. You will feel cosseted and cared for throughout. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Sascha. You have given me hope and courage for the “expedition” ahead.

I feel so blessed that I am walking this journey with Sasha at my side - and I mean at my side. Her care, warmth and empathy have transformed a difficult experience into a manageable one. I am in awe of her skills - her precision and attention to detail are remarkable. I have total trust in her. I am finding it very hard to put my gratitude into words and I am tearing up trying to write this! I have felt 'held in mind' by her throughout this process. She is an exceptional surgeon and an exceptional human being. She is Sasha the Sunshine Surgeon!

Very welcoming and approachable. Puts you at ease and is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. Happy to run consultations by phone or on messenger when face-to-face is not required. (Amazing) Lovely bedside manner. I had wonderful treatment and she had a marvellous team who are clearly very happy to work with her. Has been exceptional in answering all my queries promptly and fully.
